This one's for the geeks.
There's no high speed Internet service at the new homestead (tentatively named "Booger Holler," but the debate rages on). However, I just did a speed test using a bridged connection to the
3G network through my
Samsung Blackjack, and the results are pleasantly surprising:

It's definitely not
FiOS, but it's good enough for a plain-Jane VPN connection. I think I'm going to use the 3G instead of my WiFi for the next few days just to see if it's usable or if I'll need to make other arrangements for working from home after we move.
